56th Annual Meeting, ASNR
May 18-23, 2019
The American Society of Neuroradiology will convene in Boston, Massachusetts. Prism will be there with the latest developments in brain mapping.
Prism at Hands-on Clinical fMRI and Diffusion Tractography
Dr. Holodny offers this brain-mapping workshop twice per year at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY. The course addresses a serious need for practical training in the clinical appplication of fMRI and diffusion MR in brain mapping. Prism will provide hands-on access to its state-of-the-art tools supporting the complete clinical workflow, from acquisition to therapy. The intended audience is clinicians involved in fMRI, including neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, and neurologists.
Prism Version 4.1
July 1, 2018
The latest release of the FDA-cleared suite of clinical tools for pre-treatment brain mapping is now available. Alongside volume-rendered 3D visualization and diffusion tensor tractography, new features include Enhanced MR DICOM support, expanded fMRI paradigms, an Export Wizard with 24-bit color support, and mask VOIs.
Benefits of presurgical brain mapping highlighted
Several recent papers describe techniques for using fMRI and DTI/tractography to improve surgical outcomes. Dr. John Ulmer explains the value of preoperative DTI/tractography in establishing the spatial relationships of lesion borders and functional networks. Dr. Ted DeYoe teaches the use of fMRI in visual mapping, and its clinical application.
